Becoming a member:
We invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a part of our church family. During the singing of the hymn at the close of the Worship service, you are invited to come forward and tell the Pastor that you would like to become a member of Austintown Baptist Church. You may do so in one of the following ways,
By professing your personal faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and presenting yourself for believer’s baptism.
By transfer of letter from another Baptist church of like faith and practice;
As a believer from another denomination; you may present yourself for baptism by immersion or,
By statement that you have accepted Jesus Christ and were baptized by immersion.
“Then they that gladly receive His Word were baptized; and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” (Acts 2:41a and 2:47b)
